Burial Notes
Grandview Cemetery. Isaac was originally interred in the local cemetery near his farm (Kelly Cemetery), but his children thought he should be buried next to his wife. The story is that — in the dead of night, and completely illegally — several of the older sons dug him up out of Kelly Cemetery, drove several hours up to Grandview Cemetery and re-buried him next to Adelia.

Later, however, his body was moved to be next to his wife, who was buried in Grandview, Yakima County, Washington. He was moved by "the elder boys" (the grandsons, probably Carl and Lawrence Powell). According to the family story, the re-interment was done unofficially, in the middle of the night.
