Nancy Cobb Lauderdale, 48, of Hilton Head Island died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 12, 1955, in Rocky Mount, N.C.  She received her education in Rocky Mount schools and attended East Carolina University.

A resident of Hilton Head since 1979, Mrs. Lauderdale was an office manager for Dr. Brennan at Hilton Head Surgical, and she was employed at Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks and Sea Pines Montessori School. She was active in the Dixie Youth Baseball organization and children's roller hockey.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, both of Hilton Head; her mother, a brother, and her aunt.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 50 Pope Ave., Hilton Head. A reception will follow at the church hall.
