Duncan McDonald.  Wool Weaver. Sailed with wife Janet and sons James and John on "Great Australia" from Liverpool to Melbourne, Oct 1863 to Jan 1864 to become a Gold Miner. Returned by 1876. Due to major flooding in Tillicoultry in August 1877, the family moved to Nairn for a number of years before returning. Aged 58 in 1891 Census and 69 in 1901 Census at Lower Mill St, Tillicoultry. Died after 1908 and before 1945.
