  Robert Hugh Davis, 82, of Richland, Washington, passed away on October 30, 2013, after battling cancer.
  
  Bob was born in Oshkosh, Nebraska on July 25, 1931. He graduated from Plymouth High School and enlisted in the Army after graduation.
  
  Bob worked as a blacksmith in New Plymouth in his early years, a farmer in Harper & Ontario, he later moved his family to Nevada where he worked as a machinist. In 1964 he moved to Connell, Washington and was employed by Unique Foods. He later owned and operated Davis Automotive. Bob also held the mayor's position in Connell for two terms.
  
  Bob is survived by his companion of 18 years, ----- -----, children, ----- ----- (-----), ----- ----- (-----), ----- -----, ----- ----- (-----), ----- Davis (-----), ----- Davis (-----), ----- Davis (-----) and ----- -----. He had 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
  
  Bob is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, parents Ida Mae and Hugh Davis, sister Barbara Turner, son Randy Burns and grandsons Charles Dundon III and Caleb Krigbaum.
  
  There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 9 at 2:00pm, at the home of his grandson, ----- Davis (61 Welch Rd., Connell, WA).
  
  In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be given to the American Diabetes Association.
